Meta Data Deletion Instructions

Tajer AI integrates with Meta platforms — including WhatsApp Business Platform and Facebook Messenger — so retail teams can manage customer conversations. This page explains how to request deletion of personal data we receive through those Meta integrations.
What Meta-related data we store
When a merchant connects a Meta channel, we store connection identifiers (such as WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID and page ID), access tokens needed to send and receive messages, and the conversation content that flows through Tajer AI — messages, media, contact names and phone numbers or Meta user identifiers.
We store this data on behalf of the merchant workspace that connected the channel. Merchants control most customer records inside their workspace.
If you are a Tajer AI merchant
Sign in to your workspace, open Integrations, and disconnect the WhatsApp or Messenger channel you no longer want connected. This revokes Tajer AI's access to new Meta data for that channel.
To delete stored conversation history and customer records, remove the relevant customers and conversations inside your workspace, or contact us to delete your entire workspace.
Send workspace deletion requests from the email address on the account to [email protected] with the subject "Meta data deletion". Include your workspace name and the connected phone number or Facebook Page name.
If you are a customer who messaged a business
Your messages were collected because you contacted a store that uses Tajer AI through WhatsApp or Messenger. The store is the primary controller of that conversation data.
Contact the business directly and ask them to delete your conversation. They can remove your customer record and message history from their Tajer AI workspace.
If you cannot reach the business, email [email protected] with the subject "Meta data deletion". Include the business name, your WhatsApp number or Facebook profile name, and approximate dates of the conversation so we can locate the correct workspace.
How long deletion takes
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for a limited period for security, fraud prevention and legal obligations, after which they are removed or anonymised.
